We have been staining concrete full time for about 5 years. When we first
started in the concrete business in 2000, we poured and finished concrete.
Then we gradually moved into decorative concrete with stamping, saw cutting
and acid staining. We enjoyed saw cutting designs and staining so well, we
decided to make that our full time business.
In May of 2006, we found a new type of Stain. An acid-free, non-toxic,
environmentally friendly, bio-based soy penetrating concrete stain, Eco
ProCote's™ brand SoyCrete™. After using it on just one project we were
hooked. The colors were more consistent, it was easier to use, and we had
complete control over the entire staining process.
